At 1.35mm thickness, the White Jazz Pick provides great attack and tone control while producing a beautiful warm sound. It has a smooth feel and will not slip out of your hands. I have found the tone gets better with age and has a very broad spectrum that spans and other playing styles.
The 1.35mm size is rare. Most suppliers use the standard 1.14mm which has a thinner tone and mass for my tastes. The pick shape is based on the basic 651 / Jazz III style which provides a great hold, nice point for rapid fire notes and articulation, good mass for a warmer tone and overall smooth feel and touch.
The base material on this is made of Derlin, the same material found in ski bindings and will last for a long time. These picks also survive multiple washer and dryer rounds. I used to use a high grade celluloid pick which was fairly expensive, would wear out after a short period of time and never survive the washing machine or dryer.
